Grand National and Point to Points shown on Giant Screen

Following the popularity of the live broadcast of the Grand National at last year’s meeting, the McClarron’s giant screen will be back at Hornby Castle on 8th April as the Bedale point to point once again coincides with the World’s Greatest Steeplechase.

A huge crowd gathered at the Yorkshire track twelve months ago to watch the Irish-trained outsider Rule the World lift the Aintree showpiece, adding a festive atmosphere to the end of the point to point.

On-course bookmakers will again be taking bets on the Grand National, and bars will stay open until after the race.

The big screen also offers racegoers the opportunity to follow the day’s point to point action, as the Hornby Castle races will be broadcast live during the afternoon.

Many thanks to McClarrons Insurance for their support of the big screeen.
