Record crowd for the Bedale Point-to-Point

The Bedale Point-to-Point once again lived up to its reputation as an unmissable event on the North of England’s social calendar, attracting a bumper crowd estimated at over 7000 to the picturesque Hornby Castle venue.

The Zenith Chambers Hospitality Marquee offers guests a generous buffet lunch, afternoon tea and free bar!

Racegoers enjoyed six competitive races as well as the Scottish Grand National and Champion Hurdle from Ayr broadcast live on the McClarrons giant Screen. The feature Mens Open was won by Path to Freedom partnered by John Dawson who scored a double during the afternoon, while Becky Smith gave Meldrum Lad a great ride to lift the Ladies Open.
